As a student, Kathy’s art evolved into glass design and fabrication in the late 1970’s.  She has displayed her stained glass in several local shows and completed numerous commissioned pieces.After taking time off to raise 3 daughters, Kathy has found herself drawn back to stained glass, and reopened her studio under the name Glass Paradise Studios. Some of Kathy’s current work is displayed and can be purchased in the gift shop at the Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park.

Kathy’s Studio specializes in Tiffany style lamps shades, windows, and restoration, fabricated using both the lead and copper foil techniques, incorporating bevels and a variety of glass types. She has given instructional classes in both the lead & copper foil techniques

Artist Statement

 Tropical plants, flowers and landscapes are the inspiration for my art glass designs. Colors found in nature combined with uniquely textured glass are the perfect medium for my drawings.   

She is a member of the International Guild of Glass Artists.
